OK some of these responses are ridiculous. This isn't a case about civil rights. It's a case about murder and the only reason that Jesse and Al are being drug into this is because Cutts is black. I didn't see anyone calling for them when Lacy Peterson was killed. And I won't even comment on how absurd that "lynching" comment was.
Anyway, I think that the case is sad and I am sick and tired of (some) men thinking that the answer to their relationship problems is murder. It's clear to me that this is a typical case of a man who don't have his $!#! together and wanted to take the "easy" way out and just get "rid of the problem."
Cutts is a pathetic excuse for a man and is self absorbed. He didn't think about his WIFE before he cheated on her and impregnated another woman. He didn't think about his KIDS when he decided to commit murder and put himself behind bars for life, where he is in a position where he will never be able to provide for them one red cent. He did think about his and Jessie's SON when he took his mother from him. He didnt' think about Jessie's FAMILY when he took their daughter, sister, cousin, niece.. etc etc etc. This whole thing was all about HIM and what HE wanted.
We as women really need to get it together when it comes to letting men like Cutts into our lives. Now this Myisha lady is going down with the ship because she didn't just tell him that he better get the hell on. He must have had something to hold over her head to get her to agree to go in on this one. At any rate, whatever it MAY have been wasn't worth all of this.

I think it is so sad for Blake. I know alot of people have anger towards Bobby(as do I) but as a mother it breaks my heart every time I think of the 2 year old. He has lost his mother at the hands of his father and therefore lost his father. I hope justice is served for Jessie!

This story makes me so sad. I don't understand what the man was thinking. So you don't want the responsibility of another child or whatever- why does murdering the woman seem like the way to go? I just don't get it. I'm in Philly and the same thing happened with Latoya Figueroa. I just don't get why not just disappear why take the life of the woman and your child?

Bobby is going to discover what the AB thinks is not permissible in prison. He's going to have a very short life span!

I think it is sad commentary on how sometimes... no matter how long you have been with someone... there are some people you can never truly know.... I hope if he is guilty that he gets the maximum penalty... and if this woman helped him in any way... being a mother herself... she deserves the maximum penalty as well.

Its a very sad situation. The child is going to be left with no parents at all. He will only have his grand-mother and grand-father. If the "father" did do it he will get what he deserves.

I think he's a scumbag and prison will prove interesting for this former so-called "cop." I think his high school friend fits the bill of how Imus described the basketball team. She looks like the doin time type.
I think Jessie should've known better. I think her sister knows too much and is somehow involved. Her body language and knowledge of Jessie's habits was more than peculiar.
I think the cop's wife should've dumped him. I think the Force should've dumped him. He epitomizes what I mean when I say that in many cases, the only difference in cops and criminals is who holds the badge.

It seems like women seem to gravitate to abusive lovers, and I keep wondering why? Especially since I keep reading more and more comments on Y!A about women who keep going from one abusive relationship to the next, and keep finding guys who treat them with respect unattractive. I'm a missing something in the female heart that explains this?
