I don't really care. I don't believe that placing "In God We Trust" on anything is an alarming encroachment of the Church's influence in matters of State.

A state license plate is issued by the state. Politics (state) and religion should not mix. Not everyone believes in God. Most American politicians do but that should be irrelevant to their jobs.

That is up to the people of that state. Maybe it can be a specially ordered option on a vanity plate for the state. Most states have vanity plates or commemorative plates.

i'm guessing you're from Indiana? It's on there, so I guess it can-------until some liberal with too much time on his hands files a lawsuit.
Henry VIII-----It's not up to the people of the state, it's up to 1 judge sitting on a bench making a ruling.
In Indiana (which has a license plate that says, "In God We Trust"), it's a specialty license plate that you have to ask for. Otherwise, you get the regular plate.

As an option for a vanity plate? Sure. As a regular state issued plate? No.

Only if the person requests it, but it should not be required for all license plates.

it would be better if its optional. some people have themes going on with their cars and that might not be one of em. I would because my car screams patriotism (as the driver)

This country was founded for religious freedom. That can't be done with libs suppressing one specific religion- Christianity, while supporting Islam.
