I think you can get something to delay your period from your doctor.
Or maybe if you started taking the pill that might work.

I Just found this

Norethisterone tablets can be prescribed. The dose is 5mg three times a day starting 3-4 days before a period is due. It can be continued for up to 2 weeks or so until you want to have a period. The period will normally begin 2-3 days after stopping it. Norethisterone is normally safe to take. Some women have side effects such as bloating, stomach upset, breast discomfort and reduced libido (sex drive).

I felt the same way when I was 13. Dont worry though, I was in a situation similar to yours and decided to try using a tampon and at first it was kinda difficult to put in but then I got used to it lol. Im 14 now and I always use tampons because I find them so much better than pads. I dont think you should let your period get in the way of going to the water park, cos you'll probs regret it later if you do. Tampons are honestly not that scary...personally I find it easier not to use an applicator, but I think a lot of people find the opposite. Just see what feels easiest for you :) Hope that helps xx

Yeah, you can get tablets to delay your period. That's what i've done for my holiday next week. They're called Norethisterone or Utovian (different names for the same thing). You take them twice a days, 3 days before your period and continue taking them until you get back off holiday. Your period will start then about 2-3 days after you stop taking them.

Good luck. Enjoy your holiday :)

If you want to swim you have to wear tampons. there is no other way around it. (think about it: How would you like swimming in water with another girl's period blood? It could be dangerous) No tampon=no pool.

well to be honest, you wont have a choice if you want to sim, you cant go without anything as this will discolour the water and is just disgusting.

have you tried the super tampons? these have a long tube in so yuo just push it up and wont even notice its there? Highly recomend.

otherwise there aint another way around

Look up the menstrual cups on the web to see if those would work for you but if you don't like tampons I am not sure you would like menstrual cups. To me tampons is the cleaner, easier way to go as you can't feel them when they are in and they are very discreet to use.

ask your dr for a pill that stops your period.
i nioticed on th efirst answer they mention norethesone (or something lol)
i had that and found i had alot of spotting which is not good in a white bikini
anyway th enext year i asked for a different one which is exactly the same as that .... take 3 times a day 3 days before you are due.
it was progestorone and really worked for me.

Whatever you do don't wear a pad in the water. If you wear a tampon your good and thats pretty much the only way to explain this....
