What class that was.
The living carpets.. you lying git... no yiu lying git.
Les the assistant, who had an irrational fear of chives, and loved spirit levels.
Lister, allyways calling Reeves a work shy fop.
Novelty Island.
My favourite, by far was the Action / Image / Exchange, where Vic and Bob wore Sean connery masks and randomly danced with about with their underpants.
Quality!!!

"what's on the end of the stick, Vic?"

The man with the stick...the best bit!

Greg the labrador. Wavey Davey!

I saw this stuff live in 1990, the most I've ever laughed before or since.

I remember it well.

You wouldn't let it lie...

And Vic keeping the kids prisoners from their dad, the man with the stick...

Was the talking dog called Gary? It would make a mistake and then cover its eyes with a paw and berate itself.

And Vic trying to catch fruit from the bowl of fruit.

Some folks are mentioning "Shooting Stars" and "The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer" - not the Big Night Out.

and N.I.P.S... with Lister

And the guy with sellotape around his head ... Wavey Davey? who waved a lot...

Surreal...

"What's on the end of the Stick Vic?"

Favourite one of that is when stickman had a drawing of Duran Duran laughing at an orphan that had fallen off his pushbike on the back of his mask. So random!

Novelty Island where Bob pushed lard through a mask ...

I have the whole series on DVD!

Wasn't that the one with Otis and Marvin in the wardrobe, singing about sittin' on the dock of the bay? That was hilarious. I miss good alternative comedy on TV.

Oh, and the "Are you looking at my bra?" blokes were cool. As were "Mulligan and O'Hare" the folk singers with their classic "My love has left me, she's run off with the man from Allied Carpets".
