I say that to the people I love. I simply never refuse helping loved ones. I have gotten calls in the middle of the night from close friends.. who have hit deer and such things. Rarely do people ever want to bother me with problems of their but in emergencies I am a clear and good thinker.

I usually say "call me". I believe adding that "anytime", instead of meaning.. anytime, it functions as a restriction. I cannot clearly explain that, but this is how I feel. So, I emphatically say "call me" and people know that they can call me.. anytime, already.
Last time I said it this morning to a friend who was going to see her doctor for a rather serious problem she faces.

I told my friend that a few weeks ago because his mom is dying of cancer. I told him he could call me anytime if he needed someone to talk to.
