Well it depends on your qualifications and what you enjoy doing, but there are a ton of other things out there for teenagers. Here are some things I did as a teenager:
Babysitting
Worked at the zoo
Wrote articles and edited copy at newspaper
My main job was working as assistant secretary and then moving up to a bookkeeper type position for a tax service/accounting office.
You can also try to be a clerk at nearly any store, or start up a yard cleaning business, etc.

I would suggest that you make a resume and post it on the resumes section of Craigslist and see how many hits (leads) come in on your favor. I would also check with the unemployment office and see what they have to offer. Call them up and see what they have.
I can suggest making working in the mail room of an law office or business.

Is there a store you like to go to a lot? try and see if you can apply there. Try to associate your job with your interests, it will make the job more satisfying. If you like animals, try to get a job at a vet/pound where you walk/feed animals. If you like coffee, see if you can get a job at a coffee store. If you like shopping, try to apply at your favorite shop. Most places do hire at 16. I know target does.
Good Luck!

If you like working outdoors, talk to local landscaping companies, or companies that mow grass.
