I don't know if he cried, but I sure hope he did. This isn't a mentally unstable man, this is a greedy, heartless man, plain and simple. He put that poor family through hell because he wanted to throw a temper tantrum. Even after they found his pants and tried to give them back, he refused, he was in it for blood. They even offered him $3,000 then later, $12,000 just to settle the case, but he had dollar signs in his eyes and wouldn't have it. As far as I'm concerned no one as irrational and tempramental as this man should be dis-barred and removed from his place on the bench.

I didn't know that was the outcome, but I'm SO happy to hear that justice was done in this case. And I also commend the judge for suggesting the Judge Pearson get some mental help. That must have been an awful thing for that family to have endured all this time at the hands of a nut case. This is one time that our justice system actually worked. It's nice to hear.

The judge should have ordered Pearson to compensate the owners of the dry cleaners for all attorney's fees, court costs, and legal charges; demanded that Pearson make restitution to the owners of the dry cleaners for all the time and money they spent defending this trivial lawsuit using the same outrageous formula Pearson devised to determine the value of his suit; made Pearson publicly apologize to the defendants and the court; sentenced Pearson to thirty days in jail for wasting the court's time; remanded Pearson into the custody of a mental institution where he could get professional treatment for his obvious insanity; and removed Pearson from the bench, seeing as he is unfit to serve as a judge who needs to be objective, fair and balanced at all times.
Pearson is a mentally-unstable, selfish, greedy bastard who doesn't deserve to be sitting on a court of law where equality and justice is supposed to prevail. He should have all his benefits, pensions, and 'perks' taken away from his for dereliction of duty. -RKO- 06/25/07

The "Judge" cried on the stand during his testimony.
He is a nut & should have to pay not only the Cleaners attorneys fees but every dime it cost the county for the suit. Judge's salaries, stenographer & court clerk's salary, police for crowd control & even the electric bill for that court room.
It is more fair than what he wanted.
Kick him to the curb - what type of fair Judge can he be. He
showed major bad judgement here.

I am so pleased to hear that Pearson lost his lawsuit. That had to be one of the MOST ignorant lawsuits in history! Pearson should be made to compensate the Chungs for mental anguish and to pay ALL legal fees instead of just the $1000.00 in court costs. He should also be disbarred from the legal profession.

I let out a yipee when I heard. Do you think he'll appeal? I think he should not be a judge or lawyer. He does need mental help. He didn't have anyone in his corner on this and l really feel sorry for the cleaners, but he does have to pay their court costs. He should have to pay their lawyer fees too. Be ironic if they sued him for that.

Amen... that was just absolutly ridiculous.. and he being a member of the judicial system should have been ashamed for using the system in such a frivilous and self-serving manner.
