Economic policy by Republicans has proven worthy (and used by Clinton I hasten to add), and, most social liberal ideals won (woman's rights, civil rights, GOOD social spending programs, etc.), and, yawn, I'm already weary of the rhetoric coming up next year in the big race...it seems to me the old stand by issues should be considered closed, and, the new and exciting one's, left to unfold, what do you think?

I think the politicians have been working over time lately to try and find new issues to divide America on.

We continue to profit from the work of others and to that end we create our own problems .
We create a group of workers who are not able to enjoy the fruits of their labor because of the rates of pay they receive .

It is only possible for people who have achieved an independent amount of wealth to truly be free to expand their wealth and power .

The vast majority of people will never reach this point and the arguments become more basic .
What to do about Guns ,Abortion , Pay rates , retirements and taxes .
For some americans those are not even issues .
They have reached a point that they no longer feel the oppression of the government on their backs .
These are the people who party affiliation means one thing . The perception of those who work under and for you .
Most people would rather work under a liberal while a conservative will offer more for a steady 40 years of service a liberal will let you have it today .

Since most people refuse to plan for the future and spend what they have on hand it dooms all of us to a certain level of control .
Liberals tend to see great wealth created as a collective while republicans see it as hard work and good management skills .
For republicans your fate is not up to them unless you play by their rules .
Liberals tend to feel that those with great wealth also must give to those with less . It is these diametrically opposed concepts that divide the two parties . .

If, by "Republican economic policy" you mean the infamous "piss on the poor" economics (they called it "trickle down) invented by Raygun, or the "blank checks" Raygun wrote out for the whole time he was in office, and/or the "smoke and mirrors" economy of bush first, and policies of "bailing out" the corrupt failing Savings and Loans in Texas to the tune of BILLIONS of tax dollars, or the trillions plus "lost" by the Pentagon, and the nine trillion which bush put us into debt --- then, "NO! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY" I surely do NOT call that "worthy."

Screw partisan politics. Vote for the best person for the country regardless of their party, their religion, their race or their sex.
Time to put aside divisiveness and start working to restore the country to an example of freedom and prosperity.
