I was visiting my dad in California last week, and I bought this really cool two piece swim suit, and it was an excellent price, and it was perfect in every way except that it was alittle...big. Not a whole lot, just a little bit. I was thinking about boiling some water, and putting the suit in it, and then putting it in the dryer on high. Would that mess it up? I heard about this girl who liked to wear her jeans incredibly tight, and so after she bought them, she would put them on and get in a hot bath, so that they would pretty much be a form fit. Would that work with this? The fabric content is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. If anyone could sugest somthing, I would greatly appriciate it.

I would wash it in hot water with Clorox2 to save the color and then dry it in the dryer on high heat. The jean trick didn't work for me in the 70's. Being Poly and Spandex, it's tough to shrink.

I hear hot water shrinks clothes on top of a very hot dryer. maybe even soaking the suit in water may help as well. It's worth a shot.
