Yeah...like a couple of generations of people. He was and is a good looking, funny, talented singer/musician and family man....and always was a gentleman. Now he's been knighted by the Queen. He comes from an average family of a generation of the well bred ... you know...where manners and respect we taught, demznded. learned and adhered to throughout life. Do people know what that is anymore?
He's earned the right to be called "Sir." For all his celebrity Paul McCartney never ever showed a sign of arrogance in any way, shape or form. How many celebs can say that today? He's the ideal man to be infatulated with...you have great taste in quality men.

Ditto! What Debra D said! I was an original Beatlemaniac. He was always my favorite. I got to see him at The Meadowlands in New Jersey on his World Tour! That was in early 1990s and he put on the most spectacular show with Wings and Linda! A Beatlemaniac's dream come true! I don't think Paul will ever be old!

When I first saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, I thought that Pauls Hoffner Bass guitar was really cool.
My sister thought He was cute.
I later came to respect John more for his social counciousness. Paul just grew into another greedy capitalist sell-out. (The Walrus)

I am. He's a great guy. He never got any bad publicity until he married that money-hungry witch. For 30 years he was a loving husband and father. The songs he wrote with John Lennon are amazing. He's still handsome. What's not to like?
