I did the after Christmas inventory for the dime store I worked at, for the holidays, when I was 16. They put me in the windowless attic counting plastic flowers. When I was finished, they laid me off. Oh Happy Day!

At 18 I was laboring for brick masons, I came home everyday with mortar,sand,and sweat all over me,my clothes were covered. Took me an hour to clean up.

Helping my kids clean out hog sheds and pens when they were in 4H. I now eat pork and bacon with some relish. I no longer feel guilty about sending them to the processing plant (the hogs, that is)!

I was a CNA in a nursing home....I thought cleaning up after pets in a pet store was bad, I still have nightmares from that nursing job

clean off a dead bird (poor thing) off the grill of a car for an elderly person that had been there for awhile.
it was awful.
