It is an amusement park and is fun. I haven't been in at least 5 years but I can still recall all the fun rides we went on. I loved the turkish twist (stick to the the wall and the floor drops), the scrambler in the dark with strobe lights, the mine ride, and the Matterhorn. It is or I should say was fun.

Canobie Lake is much smaller than Six Flags, but it is an amusement park. Recently they also added a water park, similar to Water Country right at the same park. It's free to park there, and you will have access to both parts.

Canobie Lake is an amusement park but it has added a water park as well called Castaway Island. We live very close to Canobie lake and go there a couple of times a year. It isn't a dump but it isn't Disney Land either. The kids love it and thats all that matters!
Visit their website for hours, etc....

It's like an older version of Six Flags. My mother is 50 and still remembers going to Canobie Lake when she was a kid. It has some water rides, and it also has some older rides too.

Are you kidding me. Canobie lake is a dump. Kids like it. It was great in its heyday. They used to have roller skating. Scenic railroad rides. Live shows all the time.
