As someone who gets sunburned alot and pretty bad when I do. The peeling is going happen if its that bad the skin is basically burnt, literally. Put some aloe on it and wear a T-shirt. The exposed skin where it peeled will be more vulnerable to getting burnt, at least until it heals all the way.

OK..first for the burn...use vinegar or aloe. Really, even tho the vinegar may smell, at first, it will really help take the sting out of the burn.
Now, as for the skin peeling..aloe helps a bit, but I have found cocoa butter with Vitamins helps. I started to peel and have been putting Suave's Cocoa butter lotion on and it helped stop the peeling and it even helped with the redness...I have a nice tan now.
Good luck..I know a burn can be painful.

Yeah, your skin needs to rest... Make sure you rub plenty of lotion on your back.. Sunburns are no joke... :)
I got some great news for people that have red hair/sensitive skin... By the "dead sea" in Israel, there are some special beneficiary conditions for people with this type of sensitive skin... The fact that this "sea" lies about 1300 feet/ 400 meters under the sea level, for some reason provides a protective "layer" in the sky, that makes it so you can avoid getting sunburned and get a good tan... Also I think this applies for people that "freckle" easily... Just toughed I'd mention it :)

Sorry, about the burn... You may want to buy a better sunscreen that's waterproof/sweatproof etc.... You may also want to wear a t-shirt at the lake you def. dont' want a burn on top of a burn.. Get some Aloe Vera, put it in the fridge and that should help heal the burn. Besides, maybe some cute guy will help you put aloe on your back.... Couldn't hurt to ask right? (lol) Good luck and have fun

A sunburn has to heal itself, in the mean time pop a few motrin, put cool compresses on it. Do not put any lotions, oils, or anything like that, If you must use something use solarcane that takes the sting out.

I don't think theres anyway to stop it. But the good thing is when your back peels, it will be nice a soft. Maybe try some burn relif on it.

Use a high moisturizing lotion and make sure you put plenty of sunblock on at the lake!! You def. don't want to get a burn ontop of your last sunburn!!

protect it!
what a bummer, but you need to do a light exfoliate and then smear an aloe vera based lotion on your back and then
cover it up.
no sun for awhile. :(
sorry, but yeah, you'll have to suck it up, haha.
but wear a snazzy beach cover up instead of a tshirt and you'll look great!
