They certainly know how to get celebs involved. I read the McCanns are connected to Gorden Brown, a relation lives next door to his brother or something..and a Conservative politician is also related to Gerry. Do you think knowing people in "high places" has made the media bow down to the McCanns?

All I can say is thank goodness I am not famous, a celebrity, an MP or anything important. I have no famous friends, no famous relatives, do not live next door to anyone famous and have no money. I have never recorded a hit record and have nothing to do with anyone of influence.
The thought that if there was any even remote reason for any of the McCanns approaching me for my name to be associated with them in any way shape or form would have me running as fast as I could in the opposite direction.
I would do anything and I mean anything to help to find Madeleine but nothing to improve the celebrity status or add to the Fund to keep Kate and Gerry in the manner to which they would like to become accustomed.

Why can't the McCann's let the authorities do their job and keep Madeleine Campaign a bit toned down for a bit. If I was accused of kidnapping a child, why on earth would I want to be seen in public with him/her?. Madeleine's "alleged" kidnappers are going to go deeper underground and chances of her being seen in public will be slim to none. The McCann's need to think a bit, 'if' whoever has Madeleine has made sure all traces have been very well covered, (or at least, we think so), why would she suddenly be popping out of the blue, especially in daylight?. They should quit the 'celebrity image' and give up having celebrities in their 'campaign'. All this publicity could have made it all bad for innocent Madeleine.

OK just beginning to understand the Mccann influence. Its obviously the old boy network in operation. Rellies live next door to MPs! So it really does go to show that class matters.
How many ASDA employees live next door to an MP? So warning to the working classes, its one law for "Them" and another law for you.
As for Robbie Williams, you've just gone down a whole chunk in my estimation.

I do actually like some of Robbie Williams music, however in all fairness to the McCann's( never thought I would say that) they didn't actually ask him to wear the t.shirt with Maddie printed on it., he did it off his own back most likely to gain more attention for himself. Let's face it he is and always will be egotistic and self absorbed.
