I found a ferret and its sick but i cant afford to keep him. he is sweet but he needs to go to someone who can care for him.

You may want to narrow that location down some. Texas is a big state. If I were in El Paso and you were in Houston, then there would be over 700 miles of driving between us. It would take at least 10-12 hours of driving for someone to pick up the ferret.
So, what city of Texas are you in.

Take him to a shelter. Or put an ad in the paper - they are usually free if you're giving something away.
