I heard once that the Bugatti Veyron was the fastest car made, but in a quiz game the correct answer was the koenigsegg ccr, this was a recently made game too, so the answer and question must have been new, but I don't know. Which is the faster car? Correct me if I am wrong to assume the above two are the fastest, whichever one you think is faster, tell me in your answer.

Good question. Koenigsegg claim that the CCR is good for 395+ kph, which works out about 247 mph. But as we've seen on top gear the Veyron WILL do 253.
The only question that remains is what exactly does that + equate to???
I think this deserves a race, lets get on to Clarkson and have this resolved...!!! What d'ya reckon?

A simple Google search could have told you that the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport hasn't relinquished they title. I don't believe Koenigsegg has ever held that title anyway. EDIT: Well done Murcie. I haven't done my homework. In my defense, that was several years ago, was it not? Certainly long enough that people should have heard that the Veyron SS has the title.

The veyron. But SSC Ultimate Aero TT is said to go faster with a top speed of 270 mph

Bugatti is fastest. 0-60 in 2.4 seconds and 253mph top speed.
Koenigsegg 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and 249mph top speed.

bugatti is 253 mph and is £850,000. the koenigsegg is around 240 mph and is £370,000.
