Anybody knows, or can give links to info about train connections from Athens Airport to the Peloponnese. How far (what cities) do the eventual connections reach? Are they regular, and operating in September?
Appreciate your help.

From Athens airport you take the metro and go to the main train station. There are trains to Nafplio and Patra I think, they are running in September and you can find their schedule by calling 1110 in Greece or on the site www.ose.gr, but I think those trains may be rather slow. You could take a bus, those are much more frequent and fast and go to more places.(www.ktel.gr)

I have used both the train and the bus going places in Greece and to me I prefer the bus. Even sitting up in the bus is more comfortable and easier to find your way from them than on the train. If not for having a Greek friend with me at the train station I would have felt very loss.
