You know when something is bruised its beacuse its bleeding internally but what happens when an ankle for example is swollen (its definetly not bleeding, right?)

When you pull a muscle or a tendon, fluid builds up around the muscle to protect it while it's healing! I know it hurts like hell, but it's actually helping you!! Just make sure to stay off it and keep it well supported and you should be better in no time!!

This hapened with my arm it swelled up I went to a doctor for an x-ray and he said it was a bruised muscle bunch, not to worry ,BEST of Luck

Fluid retention around your ankles means too much salt and not enough exercise, thats what my OBgyn told me.
