There are a bunch of electric motors on cars these days. they control the blower, windows, moon roof, seat polsition, cooling fans for the radiator.
So depending on which one you are talking about, it could be expensive or not too bad. But I doubt if it will be cheap, no matter which motor is bad. good luck.

I believe you are talking about the alternator problem.
Is not that expensive to replace.
