there's no such thing for the symbol for inversely proportional...
u can show it by using a alpha 1/m

There is no symbol for inversely proportional.

a alpha b means a is directly proportional to b.
a alpha (1/b) means a is inversely proportional to b.

if u r not convinced with the regular expresion of inversely proportional between a & m which is a alpha 1/m u can use this one:
a 1/alpha m ! do u like it this way ; )

There isn't one. We just write it as m alpha 1/a, which means m is inversely proportional to a.

let a = alpha (I can`t find alpha!)

y directly proportional to x is then written as:-
y a x
y = k x

y inversely proportional to x is written as:-
y a 1/x
y = k (1/x)

As I recall, you write v alpha 1/t. I'll see if I can find another symbol, though.

It's the same, but instead of it being "X (alpha) K"
it is "X (alpha) 1/K"
