As a hetero I'm really cool with gay culture, but it seems to me to tell a guy you're not gay get's a response like"Oh Ok, but you still want to have sex with me right?". It seems a total denial of reality. I've always maitained respect for the gay community, but it has to go both ways.

That's BS!!! If you have gay friends that are saying that to you, get rid of them... I do NOT think every man has secret gay fantasies, nor do I want them too. I do NOT want straight men, I don't want to be blamed for "converting" someone to homosexuality or anything like that. I think you need to get your facts straight, no pun intended here, because if you are around gay people that are like that, they are shady... We are NOT all like that, in fact I don't know any gay man who is like, "oh I'm going to bag me a straight guy tonight!"

I'll continue to respect straight people, their relationships, and their sexuality, if they respect mine. If they disrespect me I'll just ignore them and move on in life, not try to sleep with them... :)

Edit- So did I get a thumbs down, cause I told the truth and said I don't want to sleep with straight men? :)

I understand what your saying. i also have alot of gay friends and although I don't really like saying this I suspect they think that I'm gay really and just in denial about it. I do find those kind of assumptions quite disrespectful and arrogant on the part of the person who assumes they know more about your sexuality than you do!! My opinion on this is only based on the people I know and would not like to generalize about the gay community as a whole.

Everyone wants to be wanted and maybe it's their way of boosting their self-esteem. But either way it's really stupid thinking. Do straight people like every one of the opposite gender? No! So why do they think gay do? Ugh. Maybe that girl is in denial of being gay herself. I know a guy like that who is a major homophobe when I think he is just covering for the fact he likes boys. Just a way funny way people deal with things :/

Let me see if I got this right.
You claim to be straight but I read something about you having sex with gay men, doesn't that at least make you Bi.
So no wonder you got the yeah right deal, you don't know what you are and they do.
He he
Nope I don't think any man believe all men are gay, just the ones who say yes.

no i dont beleive every man is gay, but as i just answered on another question. i do get a lot of 'dang not now im with my girlfriend' reactions when flirting with men in public. I do think a lot of gay men put up the straight facade because society has not yet accepted us fully.

no, I don't think that at all. Gay people only make up a small percentage of the population. We are the minority, however I noticed alot of straight men and woman think that we are all naturally straight and it is a big shock to them if we say we aren't. I realize that we are all human and have different orientations

Unless I am told by that person that they like to bang other guys, I usually assume that person is straight. I do however think that no one is 100% either way, but somewhere in the middle.

I don't assume that at all, I think you have to be really insecure to be like that.

Only time I'd ever say that would be as a joke, nothing more, sounds like a foolish philosophy to follow.

No, not all of us assume that. If someone is straightI respect that. I'm not out looking for sex with every good looking man I see either.
