I have read mixed reviews about Hotel Breakers and the older section. Is it really that bad?

I stay every year in the old section for Holloweekends. It's (obviously) much cheaper than the new section and it's not really that bad. Just try not to be on the 4th floor because there aren't any elevators! The rooms are smaller, but good water pressure, the beds aren't bad & there's a window unit AC. And having close parking, no lines to enter & quick access to the park is always worth it! Plus that little beach is great and so is the pool & Fridays in the hotel. Oh, did I mention the luxury of taking a nap mid day and going back out??

I stayed in the older section of Hotel Breakers last year. It wasn't really bad at all.

I didn't realize the hotel was still open. A couple of years ago, we went up with the family for a week, and we rented a house on the lake. It was really nice. Why don't you check that out on the web. Use your Google - there's all kinds of stuff available. Have a great time!
