This is what I don't get. I love a racist joke, find them funny and who doesn't laugh at stereotypes. Does this mean I have a skinhead, a little tache and a white hood though (again another stereotupe lol). I dont care what a persons skin colour is, its more laughing at a persons culture. I'm English and I hear Irish jokes all the time and nothing is said about that - but just because an Indian or a Pakistani is black, jokes about them are classed as racist!?

Somebody tell me a joke about whites and I'll give you a mark out of ten lol

There is a little white boy with an all white family playing outside in the mud.
He rolls around and realizes he is covered in mud.He goes inside and tells his mom "Look mom I'm black." She says come here. He went and she whooped him.
She said go tell your dad what you did.
He went to his dad and said "Look dad i'm black." He said come here and he started to whoop him. Go to your grandma and tell her what you did. The grandma did the same thing. He went back to his mom and she asked "What have you learned today?" The boy said "I've been black for five minutes and I already hate you white basterds!!!"

Ghost Hick

A visiting professor at Texas A & M University is giving a seminar on the supernatural. To get a feel for his audience, he asks: "How many people here believe in ghosts?" About 90 students raise their hands.

"Well that's a good start. Out of those of you who believe in ghosts, do any of you think you've ever seen a ghost?" About 40 students raise their hands.

"That's really good. I'm really glad you take this seriously. Has anyone here ever talked to a ghost? 15 students raise their hands.

"That's a great response. Has anyone here ever touched a ghost?" Three students raise their hands. "That's fantastic. But let me ask you one question further.....Have any of you ever made love to a ghost?" One student in the back raises his hand. The professor is astonished. He takes off his glasses, takes a step back, and says, "Son, all the years I've been giving this lecture, no one has ever claimed to have slept with a ghost. You've got to come up here and tell us about your experience."

The redneck student replies with a nod and a grin, and begins to make his way up to the podium.

The professor says, "Well, tell us what it's like to have sex with a ghost." The student replies, "Ghost? Damn..... From back there I thought you said 'goats'!

I think you should know the person you are telling the joke to very well in terms of feelings, emotions and what their reaction might be. A joke about someones skin colour or culture might be the end of a potentially long relationship you used to have with that person. I'm talking from experience. Then again you might think you know this person but one joke might just cause so much pain to a person you really love and cherish. I would stay away from racist jokes if i were you.

NO

But be careful of the company you keep. I'm mixed race half black and half white. At school me and other black kids used to tell negro jokes and many Irish tell Irish jokes as well as ones about locals etc... What you have to differ is the relationship with the crowd, and the intelligence of who you speak to. If you talk to some inbred redneck then of course they wont like red neck jokes a lot.

All humor has a problem of becoming subjective and not objective so really depends who you are around. Mix your jokes so you attack everyone including yourself so it doesn't look like you are targeting any particular group but EVERYONE is getting it. Then everyone can have a good laugh at each other.

I have an Indian friend who tells me loads of jokes about Indians as well as blacks, pakistanis, etc and i wouldn't consider him a racist.

I personally didn't consider Bernard Manning a racist because he told jokes about everyone, i've seen him live and there was a huge group of black lads and 2 pakistani lads near us all laughing their heads off.

You can tell ANY joke about white people to me, you can call me white trash or whatever and i wouldn't be offended or scream racist a you, i just wouldn't be bothered.

It's just not a level playing field for everyone, and until it is there will always be some taking an advantage of a 'racist' situation.

I do sometimes burst out laughing at a racial joke. I think we have become too easily offended about everything. Blondes of course take a beating because they typically have an IQ 7 to 10 points higher than their brunette sisters. Poles, Jews, Irish, Scotts, Blacks, Mexicans... you name it, we have all met one that fits the sterotype. Paris Hilton fits nicely in the blonde mold... but since I didn't watch the sex tapes, I am not sure she is a blonde.
Dolly Partin, "I know I'm not a dumb blonde and I know I'm not blonde."

they really are quite boring yet some are funny. There has always been those about the Irishman, the Scotsman and the Englishman. It keeps us together as a nation. Strangely there are not many about the Welsh, the Irishman, the Scotsman and the Englishman.
