Benadryl spray or cream. Don't scratch. Maybe once you apply the benadryl (also taking one tablet orally is good) you drink some more, but stay indoors this time till you sober up or put on your DEET.
Me, I like to confront the pain, overcome it without medication if I can. I find that I can get high on the dopamines or whatever chemical my brain manufactures to respond to the pain. I've been bitten so many times my whole face swelled, my lips were puffy. How it happened was I wanted to paint a watercolour scene of a pond with swans and ducks, and I concentrated on finishing the painting before I left.
These days, though, I've learned you can catch some very bad sickness from mosquitos. So I advise you wear long sleeves, cover your feet with socks and shoes, and apply DEET. Use mosquito netting.
Good luck, Petie.

Diaper rash cream works great. To avoid this dilemma in the future.....when outside rub a dryer sheet on your clothes and then leave it hanging halfway out of your pocket. the mosquitos will avoid you like the plague

Quality calamine lotion, but the trick is to apply heaps of it, one layer at a time, that is, let it dry, then apply some more. "Stop Itch" is great but works best if you use it soon after being bitten.
