Not me just someone asked me to post this question ,how did or would you feel if that happened to you ?????

I've not found out, but I have suspicions about a few not being what they claim.

I can normally tell by the writing. Women tend to be less aggressive. Once and a while little boys will appear as younger girls or pictures they have taken off of the Internet. To answer the question, yes I have been mislead a few times when I was a different name, I change my name frequently.

I have done that. When I was corrected by that person, I smoothly apologize, then reasked the question using the corrected title. There isn't alot you can do but keep moving the conversation along.

It has happened to me elsewhere, but I am certain its happening here as well. When you think about it, look how easy it is for people to be deceitful and not care one bit who they fool. It's one of the downfall's of using the net.

it hasn't happen to me on here but it has on icq i was so sure it was a women i gave her/him my MSN name after we had been chatting on there for a few minutes he started to say disgusting things so he got well and truly blocked i can have a laugh and a joke but he went way to far so be careful everyone xx

It happened when I was playing pool online. I was confused. First I thought she was a girl. Then she hit on me. Then I told her I was straight so she told me she was a guy. It was weird.

No, I usually know. People assume I'm male, all the time. It doesn't bother me, easy mistake with the name and avatar...or lack of one!

If I'm not sure, my answer will be "my friend "is the way I answer them.Sometimes you'll know who is writing by the contents of the question.If I'm not sure at all, I wont answer at all.
