I want to go to away on a memorable break for my 30th and I've had my eye on Utah for a while.
Trouble is, my birthday is in January and I'm not sure if it would be practical to visit at that time of year
Does anyone know what the weather would be like?
Cheers!

In January northern Utah would be cool and still fairly snowy so if you like skiing it would be a great time to come. Southern Utah would be cooler still, but warmer than northern Utah. Here is a link to the average temperatures in Salt Lake City http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/achesandpains/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USUT0225?from=search
and here is the link for St. George which is southern Utah http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USUT0222?from=36hr_bottomnav_business

January is Winter in Utah. Known as the greatest snow on earth you have some world class ski resorts such as Snowbird, Alta and Park City. Of course all the Mormon attractions are open all year round like the tabernacle etc. But skiing is the mainstay of the Utah winter. Great power snow and great skiing.
