I just found out that apparently for some time people have not been allowed to teach "baa baa Black sheep" in Schools, but they can teach "baa baa white sheep".

Should it just be "baa baa racially indifferent sheep" that way we can avoid hippocracy.

My daughter came home singing 'baa baa white sheep'. Initially I thought it was the nursery going PC crazy, but apparently it is a different song to 'baa baa black sheep'.

This Mother Goose rhyme, like all her other famous rhymes makes a lot of sense. One needs to discover the meaning of the riddle. Black sheep are very rare, they only occur one in every one million births. This was all Mother Goose was saying.

Too blooming long, its black sheep and always will be as far as I'm concerned. I grew up with black sheep, noddy stories with golliwogs and the black and white minstrel show. I don't think its insulting, its British Culture, and why should it be changed for a few who don't like it.

Its al bollocks. Do ANY 'colured' people get offended because certain things have a similar colour to their skin?

A blackboard is BLACK! thats what it IS, it not racist!

Most sheep are white, black sheep are unusual. Its an exception to the rule, not an insult!

etc,etc,etc.............

political correctness has gone mad
