I can honestly say that the thing that never lets me down is music and singing. I also can honestly say that it is my first love and boyfriend. :D
Oh yeah and God. Even if you don't believe in God, it's nice to have SOMETHING to guide you.

Hmmm... I take it you're not in a very good mood.
Still, it's valid question since I think everyone's felt like that at some point. Lots of things are ephemeral, including bf/gfs and your friends from school. I personally think that my family is always there in my life.
But I know everyone has to go they're own way at some point. That doesn't make life lonely, though. I mean, it's like the saying (however corny some people may find it); when one door closes, another opens. So just because someone dumps your or dies or just... leaves, doesn't mean they've left you with nothing.
If a loved one dies, they've left you with memories.
If your girlfriend leaves you, then (once you've gotten over it) you can find another one... (I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, it's just I don't know what else to say on the subject of bf/gfs).
However, family, in my life is definitely constant. Constant doesn't mean I'll constantly see them (I'll have to make my own life and leave them for a while at some point) but I'll always come back, or they'll at least come to see me.
Yep, I think family's the constant and some close friends. (You will undoubtedly lose touch with many of your friends though. It's usually the ones in college who you'll remember and maybe a few close ones from highschool).
So, people walk in and out of your life, but that's okay because you've probably walked in and out of someone else's life and they're okay, so you probably will be too.

Life is teaming with the wonders that God gave us to use. The ocean, mountains, etc. So life isn't lonely, only people. When I feel lonely n I can't go anywhere cuz I'm on the pity pot (which is where you are my friend) I do something positive to get out of myself and the best way to do that is to help someone else. This is weird but I like to browse through the pics on webshots.com too, there's some great ones there to boost your mood....If you're sittin' in crap, I know it's nice & warm but YOU decide to pull yourself out. Try looking for stuff to do...other than the computer. Go outside & get some sun. Oh, and the only thing constant is change!

Life changes. Nothing is less static than life. Yourself is life. Nothing static about you either.
The only constant thing is the moment but it's constant only for a moment.
Go figure.

It is wisely said that the only constant in life is change. This being so, then what constant enduring person can be said to be lonely? Therefore not even your self is constant.

Some people make up God(s), for me I like the loneliness, the pain, the fear, I grow stronger when I suffer through these things.

it's the price tag of being a thinker. Thinking requires being alone. Stop thinking and step out into the world.
