No. I hate the White Sox, but you can't blame a manager that won them the world series and they haven't lost a whole lot of talent from that team. The players are to blame in this case. Not saying Ozzie is doing a great job but it's more the players than him.

I don't know if Ozzie Guillen's strategies in games are markedly differnet, but if there was an "all for one, one for all" attitude Guillen built around the 2005 champions, it is long gone right now. The shame of it for Guillen, who is obviously a good manager tactically, is that his controversial nature will keep him away from managing for many years after the White Sox fire him.

There isn't much Ozzie Guillen can do about NOBODY hitting, a bullpen that blows lead after lead, or the team being in perhaps the toughest division in baseball. Here is where it's good to be patient. The hitters might crank it up, the manager might develope a strategy (he DID win the World Series), or the shifting roster of the off-season might tweak what's wrong. Look at them very seriously next year. THEN maybe it goes to Ozzie's shoulders.

How can you blame the manager for the white sox having a team batting average of .237. Lowest in the bigs. They don't have a single player batting over .300. If anything they should fire the hitting coach.

No, it's the team that isn't producing. Their big hitters have about as many home runs as A-Rod does alone, their average leader (aside from Podsednik who has been on the DL most the year) is batting .260. They only have two starters with under a 4.00 ERA. They are hurting themselves and not playing the game the way they should be playing. Konerko, Thome, Dye, Iguchi, Uribe...all underperforming. They should be contending for that division, AT LEAST!

It might be better to blame him rather than all the players that can't hit a lick or throw the ball over the plate. Isn't that the way it always seems to work in MLB. He must of forgot everything he learned since he won the world series.

I blame the players for the failure. It's always convenient to always blame the manager for the failure of the players.

No...you can blame the hitting for one...and more importantly you can blame the bullpen...the White Sox bullpen has given away so many wins this year.

No. There are a lot of older players on this team. This team needs an infusion of younger players. Plus most importantly the offense needs to start scoring runs.
