In areas close to rivers, yes!
In other areas, no!
It is not global warming, it is bent counsels approving planning applications for homes in unsuitable areas!
It is also the fault of over population, and covering vast areas in concrete, so the water has nowhere to go, the water table cannot be replenished, (that is why we have hose pipe bans), because the majority of the water is directed into the drainage system, and overloading it!

It's normal but it's happend more often over the past 30 years partly because we have been building more houses on flood plains. I don't know if actual rainfall has increased over that sort of period due to global warming too.

Last year they were telling us we would never have water again and the drought was permanent; Global warming is nonsense and non-science.

It worries me where all of this rain is going to. I am sick of this wet weather now, it should be blazing hot and we should all be out sunbathing, and not sitting in doors with our central heating on.
