i mean they know they have to wear clothes, why cant they learn how to use a tooth brush and mouth wash

probably to distinguish the males from the females. i.e.more than four,female, less than four male. oh god i shouldn't have said that now they'll make me squeal like a pig

tooth loss can also be a genetic trait...my parents had dentures in their 20's..out of 8 brothers and sisters 6 of them wear dentures. Also income is a big factor. When you can't afford to buy the proper foods you seriously lack the nutrition that you need to keep your teeth healthy. Pregnancy takes a big toll on teeth as well, especially if you do not eat healthy. So it really has nothing to do with living in a trailer park at all.
As far as I am concerned there's no such thing as trailer-trash.

I live in an upscale mobile home park in a very nice Trailer! We chose this life style because we can live conservatively and keep our money to use as we wish instead of sending the banker on vacation. We drive top of the line cars have a fat bank account...can afford the best dentists and don't appreciate being called trailer trash!

Here's a concept, maybe the lack of teeth is what makes them fit into your definition of "trailer trash?"
Clearly this stereotype would not be applied to someone you saw standing in a trailer park with a nice healthy smile.

You should not make assumptions. I live in a custom made $76,000 mobile home. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, wrap around porch, etc. My pastor and his family live in a mobile home. Not EVERYONE that lives in a mobile home is 'trailer trash'.
I do agree that trailer parks get a bad wrap mostly because there is a lot of crime, etc. Did you see the show on TV about the Million Dollar Mobile Homes? Some famous people live in mobile homes.
I have my teeth and I even know how to use a toothbrush. Imagine that.

Maybe they do. Lots of people practice oral hygiene but cant afford to go to the dentists for professional cleanings. After years of neglect they start to lose their teeth. And you shouldnt generalize and shouldnt call people trailer trash at least they are paying for their own rent instead of living off government aide.

The point that you're missing, is that the basis for good teeth when you're an adult, is getting proper nutrition and dental care as a child. Therefore most adults with bad teeth probably owe it to their parents.

i honestly dont know.lol. like u'd think for the sake of a few pence they wud get a tooth brush and tooth paste but then they seem 2 spend all thier money on tacky garden ornaments.
