Couple of problems ...
1. Check the RAM of your computer ....pull it out and push it back in ..only if you know how to do it. ....try interchanging the slots and before inserting the RAM back in ..also clean the contact points.
2. If the above doesn't work ...there could be a problem with the CMOS battery ...it's the small round lithium battery on the motherboard. ...it must have finished ...if it has replace it
There is a weird way of checking the battery ...take it out and hold one end in between your forefinger and the thumb and press the other end in between your tongue and upper jaw ...if you feel the sour tingling sensation ...the battery is still charged.
3. Check the monitor cables ..pull them out and re plug them.
4. Hope your monitor is working fine ....attach it to your friends computer and see it if works fine.

You monitor seems to be fine, and the computer sounds to be booting up, but the Video card is not sending a signal to the monitor (hence it saying SCREEN IS NOW ENTERING THE SAVE POWER MODE). This is either the Video Cable or the video card may have come loose or gone bad. Check the video cable and video card.
Hope this helps

It will beep if the video card is not working.
Perhaps your monitor is not connected propertly to you pc. Try to remove and reconnect you monitor cable from the pc.
If still wont work. Try running in safe mode. I think you press f8 during boot up. If it can run in safe mode then try to find what is doing the power saving mode. Try to restore your computer with system restore to the last time it ran properly.

1). Monitor is dead
2). Video card is dead or there is a problem with it's driver
3). Cable is torn or loose.
4). Video card came out from it's slot on the motherboard(check all of the connections inside the PC).
Try to boot PC in SAFE mode.
Try to hook up your PC to another monitor.

One of the following:
Video card died
Monitor died
Video cable died
Video cable unconnected.
So...
1) Check connections are in properly.
If not fixed:
2) Test with a working monitor
If not fixed, probably dead video card.
If fixed probably dead monitor or monitor cable
Check this by:
3) Use your monitor on another computer.
That shoudl isolate the dead component.

You may have problem with your setting for power button. change the setting which decides what to do when power button is pressed.
so right click on desktop, this will show DISPLAY PROPERTIES window click on SCREEN SAVER tab, then click on POWER button. POWER OPTION PROPERTIES will be shown. now click on ADVANCED tab. select what to do when power button is pressed. e.g. 'shut down'. that will shut down the computer whenever u press power button.

One of several things could be wrong.
- monitor plug is lose
- it does not really BOOT UP. You will have to remove power, open the case and re-seat the RAM modules.
- video card might have come loose.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

no longer basically this nighttime, it happens considering which you're no longer affected person. enable the reveal screen refresh itself then do what you're able to desire to do. in case you attempt to do something till now the reveal screen completely refreshes you will finally end up choosing something else because of the fact the reveal screen jumps. Take some time. /checklist
