Physically hurt?
Yes, I have. When I found my ex was cheating on me with my best friend it hurt me so bad I became physically ill and got the worst headaches in the world. I swear to you, I thought I could have died, but I moved on from that and it helped me to grow and learn.

Yes.

I've been widowed twice, and both times I ended up severely depressed for quite a long time. So much so that it was taking a toll on my health.

However, almost two years ago now - my mother had a stroke and had temporary amnesia and couldn't remember anyone... I'm very close to my mother and that hurt like nothing else before in my life - not being recognised by my own mother.

Yes, in many different incidents. The latest was Thursday when my 19 year old cat died. I ended up in the hospital with chest pain, vomiting, etc. In 1995 my 18 year old cat passed. Then of course, there's the person that gave birth to me..........we won't even go there.

yes. i was emotionally involved with a friend who turned on me, got me fired from my job, and then tried to ally all of our "shared" friends against me to alienate me. The funny thing is I still care about this friend and want to be friends again someday, but chances are I'll never see this friend ever again. I had chest pains & couldn't sleep for 4 days. Now I take sleeping pills.

yes. once i was in the middle of the most terrible argument of my life with my gf right after a bunch of indescribably ****** up events which i can't even describe and i felt physical pain in my head, neck and arms. it became so severe that my shoulders became completely numb and i COULDN'T MOVE MY ARMS! i hyperventilated, collapsed and threw up. it was horrible, and really surprising that emotions could do that to me. it makes me wonder if getting extremely upset can kill you.

Yeah....I'm going through this now.....The reason is that I broke up with my boyfriend that I truly loved. I was ready to give everything up for him. Now I have to eat for about 3 and a half days and as a result I feel dizzy, want to vomit, I can't sleep... Though I'm surrounded by friends I'm not feeling better....
