as an Englishman who is in the USA on business, i feel i must ask this question. Most Americans would struggle to choose a matching pair of socks in the morning. As far as i can see the USA is still a third world country, even though they are doing lots to lose thet stigma. The American people have clearly made the wrong choices, opting for a skyscrapers rather than focusing on the shanty villages that dominate the landscape.
I say shame on you Americans

How old are you? Seriously your not very wise. Last week alone you were back and forth to the U.S. 6 times on business. Seems like poor money management to me.

What shanty villages? Far as I can tell we don't have villages here. Cities and towns yes, but no villages.

Stop being a moron and do something productive with your life. If I were you I'd start by getting an education. If that didn't work I'd shoot myself, at least nobody besides you would be hurt by that.

I've never had trouble finding a pair of matching socks. If we are such a third world country why is it that 90% of the world still runs to us for help?

Are you serious? First, the Americans have as much right to make choices as anyone. Secondly, I've probably met a lot more Americans than you and I've found them to be not much different from anyone else. Individually they just want to get on with their lives. I've travelled much of the world. Who are you to make such a broad statement as " the American people have made wrong choices" That's really up to them to decide. Sorry Sid, I've done it again. I didn't realize this was your question. I take all back. I must get into the habit of seeing who's question it is before responding. But then I'm old.

What shanty villages????

Even the public housing here (and I've lived in Florida, California, Texas, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware), look like regular apt buildings with every comodity.

The only wrong choices that we've made have been vietnam and now the Iraq debacle everythind else just shows how ignorant you really are.

Answer this question: Where would the world be without electricity, cars, airplanes, personal computers, the light bulb, etc...? Well that is what the world would be like without America and Americans. What have the "other" 3rd world coutries contributed to world except begging for our money. Not mention we are the most charitable country in the world, if a 3rd world country is more charitalbe than your country, what does that say about your country?

No you should not allow us to to make any decisions at all. We are awed by Europe's great record of choices. Your intellect and sophistication no match for our backward feeble attempts at establishing a civilization. Hell it took us almost 8 years after we made the decision to walk on the moon. If we had the ability to make choices like the Franco-Brits I imagine that even more people would come to the USA and our economy would be the worlds largest by an even bigger margin. You and your Eurofriends should stop us before we hurt ourselves.

I do not see what is to gained by constantly rubbishing other nations, it is like a rash that people like you keep itching which makes it worse. How can Americans, all of them,be of the same ilk.Any person with a modicum of intelligence would not even try to tar everyone with the same brush,it is so boring.I have been quilty of it myself so I am included but it is so easy to get on the bandwagon. How about trying a little tolerance and understanding, that is what I am trying very hard to do, surley it is more possitive and much more productive.

Stop the fighting people. Sheesh! The Brits are supposed to be our friends - and us, theirs.

By the way, I always choose matching socks in the morning. And the shanty villages you speak of are actually south of the border. You must have been in Mexico and accidentally thought you were here. That's ok though. We forgive you.

The biggest of our bad choices was, defending you in 2 world wars. You've been bragging about your victories ever since. We have made some good choices in the past though, Kicking you out of our country was the best of them.

P.s., Put your handbag away? Is that the best you got? What am I talking about, of course it is. At least I don't claim to be from a country that hasn't given the would a straight musician since Mick Jagger. Go boil your meat, peasant.
