My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 2 1/2 months. I left my ex for him.
He broke up with his ex fiance 2 years ago. She cheated on him and treated him like crap. They were together for almost 4 years. He told me he wanted to marry his high school sweetheart, and he didn't think he could do any better than her.
He has pictures of her (as well as all the other ex's), letters from her, and her voice on a tape recorder. (rewound to the spot where she starts talking..) He even looks for her on myspace to see what she's up to.

When I bring it up he just gets quiet like he just got busted.

My friends aren't any help, what should I do?

Sounds like he does still hold a torch for her i'm afraid.
Is it affecting your relationship?
If not, let it go. Theres not a lot you can do and as long as you're both happy then it's best to just get on with it.
The pictures and letters he probably wants to keep in case you're ever not around and he's lonley, he can still look over them. Its hard to throw old things like that out. And the myspace thing, maybe he's jsut nosey. I've done that with exs from ages and i would never go back out with them. its just too easy to nose around.
talk to him about it and demand the truth. it could be good for both of you.

He is not over her. He still has feelings for her, and you can not take those away. They will probably go away in time, but do you want to sit around and wait? That is really up to you.

Hes not over her, and I dont think he will ever be over her. You wll always be second best, is that what you want?
You deserve the best, so go out there and get it!

Maybe you should find someone else because you really don't trust this guy completely. Besides you never stop completely loving someone anyway.

It doesn't sound like he has gotten over her. Still thinking about her, wondering what she's up to.

Don't think I would invest anymore time in him.
