(8/.8) * (8/.8)

= (10) * (10)
= 100

8 x 8 = 64 leaving 36 which cannot be represented by 8s alone.

(8 + 8) x 8 = 128

(8 + 8) x 8 - 8 = 120

I am not sure that we can do it, even if we try to use the Octal sytem. I would like to see a valid answer.

I saw an answer which uses decimal eights. I am not sure that was allowed since the questions says to use just four eights. Still, I would say that the answer is quite ingenious.

these type of questions are just pastime riddles. only i attempt to answer the most challenging type. yet i will give one of the answer
antilog ( log (8 x 8 x 8) base 8)
even (8/0.8) + (8/0.8) also gives the same answer.
if we change the base from 10 to 8 we get more answers.
