My closest friends sometimes arrange to meet up in the evenings with out inviting me, then they lie to me about when they last saw each other. The are nice to me but they still lie to me. I find out they've met up from what they've been saying on Myspace. I have said to them in the past to invite me too but it doesn't make any difference. Yes I need new friends but how can I make them include me and not lie.

Real friends are few, some people may have only one possibly two. These are the people you can turn to throughout life, argue, bounce ideas, ignore them and they will always be there. Acquaintances, however, are people you can have fun with but at the end of the day they can be fickle and unless you turn into their clone you wont feel a part of their world. So then, why would you want to be . . ?
If it's a popularity war, best stay out of it or you may turn into one of them....Be a leader.

You dont say how old you are or your friends????
They are not worthy worrying about, try to do something else, like a hobbie/class or something and get some new friends....
You never really know if the people you class as friends, really are true friends and i think that your friends need a lesson or two in the meaning of 'friendship'

Get new friends. They aren't including you and doing things in secret because they don't want you involved. It's worrying that you call them your closest friends. Close friends love and support, they don't lie.

It sounds like there is nothing you can do to make them invite you along. why would you want to hang out with them if this is how they treat you? it cant be doing your self esteem and emotional health much good. everyone has good pionts and they oviously are not interested in yours. earn yourself some respect and blow them out.

you can't. They are not worth bothering with. Find some new friends, go to new places or sign up for some clubs or new activities. They sound like losers.

it's difficult to make people to do something like that (include you ) i wouldn't even try, as i couldn't see it been successful, all you can do is be yourself, it mighn't be easy or bring you much luck, but there's no point in trying to control things, as not everything or everyone will be under your control. good luck.
