You did the right thing by making an appointment , although I would have recommended the ER.Your bleeding will depend on how far along you were, but to me it sounds like an infection. You might just need a d&c ( dilation and curettage). If you aren't in the mrdical field , it means that they will go into your uterus w/ a athin, sharp instrument and scrap the lining. This done when ( as far miscarriages go ) when there still is material left i.e. placenta, etc. inside of you. I strogly recommend that you go to the ER if you have any of the folllowing: fever, chills, severe pain , heavy bleeding ( saturating ayour pad within an hour for more than 2 hours). Also I recommend that you don't have sex for at least 2 weeks, and that you don't use tampons. With that I wish you good health and good luck.

Sorry to sound really awful but are you sure it was a full miscarriage as i am wandering if as you get severe pains in your side etc and this would emphasise any bleeding if this is the case you will need this sorting out as you could risk an infection. Good Luck

Could be an infection but the specialist will help you to try and figure out what could be causing this.

That happened to my mom. She found out she had uterine Cancer and they had to give her a hysterectomy.
