25% means 3 parts out of 12
(25/100 = 3/x
25x = 300
x = 300/25 = 12

1) the surface area of a cube is 96cm squared. find its volume in cm with little 3 on top ?
S = 6s²
s = √(S/6)
V = s³
V = (√(S/6))³
V = (√(96/6))³
V = (√(16))³
V = (4)³
V = 64 cm³

25% = 3/12
1) since area = 96cm^2, then each face = 96/6=16 cm^2, and each side is sqrt(16)=4cm. Vol=4^3 = 64cm^3

96/ 6 sides = 16
root of 16 = 4 (length of the sides of the cube)

4^3 (width*length*height) = 64 cubic centimeters

any cube will have 8 identical square sides

so

96 / 8 = 12

so each side will be 12 cm ^2

so the length of each side will be sqrt(12) cm

so the overall volume will be

sqrt(12)^3 cm^3

are you sure you gave the correct figures?
