I'm no where near my period.

If this was your first time it could be from the tearing of the hymen, a thin membrane that is just inside the vagina.
If its not the first time, if it was too rough (too excited/inexperienced) or you weren't ready (too dry) then there might be some small abrasions (grazing) which should heal fairly quickly on its own. Suggest you use a lubricant, more foreplay and try different positions, and get him to take more care.
If symptoms persist, and bleeding keeps occurring, or other symptoms develop, please see your doctor to rule out other problems.

If this was your first time then your hymen (the thin layer of skin around the opening to the vagina-which is on the inside of the body) may have broken. It is normal for some women to have some bleeding after this happens.

If this is not the first time it could be as a result of an infection.

The only way to know for sure is to get in touch with your dr to let them know what's going on and see what they say.

Might sound scary but have a smear done, it could be a sign somethings not right. Ive had 2 abnornal smears and just had a biopsy taken, leave nothing to chance, might just be an infection but better to be overcautious.

Maybe your hymen broke?
