The earth isnt really a true spher but more like a slightly squeezed ball where the pressure is coming from the poles.
To give you an idea think of a football spinning really fast horizontally.

It's actually more of an oval because the glaciers overtime are on the poles and it's all water on the equator, so the glaciers squeeze the earth into an oval
