Whats with all the Ron Paul lemmings on YA. This guy has about as much chance as Denis Kucinich. Why is it every election a small percentage of fringe nuts jump on a candidate like this...you must have voted for Perot and Nader in the past.

Even running for president no one knows who he is. How could he possibly have a chance?
He only appeals to a very fringe group that thinks we can hide our head and everything will be fine. He is the Dennis Kucinich of the republican candidates.

Unfortunately, I doubt it. He had a great opportunity to gain national attention during the first GOP debate when he could have slammed Rudy for the mayor's many faults with respect to 9/11 and he didn't do it. I doubt he'll get the chance again and I doubt he'll be able to get the nomination. He has a lot of great things to say, but these days a presidential candidate has to be media savvy and part showman, and Ron Paul appears to be neither.

Ron Paul is heavily favored to win especially by Yahoo Answers participants because of his execellent views on critical issues.
