As an American and a former soldier, I see the UK as a loyal ally. We have stood with one another in both World Wars, the Cold War, Korea, and now in Iraq. As a premedical student, I view your universal health care system as a model to provide heath care to the third of the US population who are uninsured. I'm also reminded of a time immediately after the 911 attacks when I saw a car driving down the street with both the flags of the US and UK side by side, I knew from that point on that the US wouldn't have to fight terrorism alone. Also, the James Bond films are to die for.

Nice one cassidy, thank god your over there and not over here, Don't we get enough yanks moaning about the Sth Americans invading Nth America ? Your lucky in the states. you so much space to put these people, where as here in the UK we are running out of space. No one is blaming the Immigrants for coming here, who can blame them, its a nice place to come and be given free, health care, education, a home and benefits as well. What Britain should do is fall into line with the rest of Europe, and stop all the benefits people can get, then we could solve our problems over night.

well, I'm Italian and I think that your democracy has always been a lighthouse to look to. it's clear that, according to my opinion, Blair made a mistake joining Bush in the war against Iraq. moreover I don't understand your forced isolation from the rest of Europe, why are against a Europe all united under a single government? ciao

Hello, I am from America's west coast (formerly the north of Mexico) and i hate the U.K. a lot. The main reason is how you guys disike immigrants so much, so go **** yourselves because if you lived in a poor country you would also migrate to try and makes a better life for you and your family.
