If a person like Gandhiji can bring India to independence from the rulez of Brit then a person like him would definitely bring a change to the situation now in India and India would be counted in developed countries.

in India, d only things d president does is inaugurating places n giving speeches. he has no real powers. d real power rests wid d prime minister n the cabinet.
(concentrate on Indian polity)
so, if a person like Gandhi were 2 bcome d president of d country, it wud b a sheer waste of his qualities. but he cud influence d country with his speeches

if Ghandi becomes President now will be good.
Because, all the Indian states will be Liberated,
there will be a country call Maharashtra,
there will be a country call Kerala
there will be a country call Tamil Nadu
there will be a country call Madaya Pradesh.
In these way, India will jus be like Europe very influential with many languages ard rather than promoting one single language in One India.
The advantage in having diff states as Country, there will be better and more Indian sportsmen recongnised, more economic opportunities, more beauties in Miss World which could lead to all top 5 winners will be Indian Beauties,

Don't be so obsessed with Gandhi. Our children are brain washed right from childhood to praise him.
Can Hindus live safely in Pakistan? If not why did he allow Muslims to live here. This defeats the basic purpose of partition.
