Jamie, as you can probably tell by my answers to some of your other questions, I'd be accepting, helpful, and involved with my new 'girlfriend'. OK, for some people it's a little strange, but aren't we all, in some way or other?
I may set some limits if you were my boyfriend, after all, that's who I started a relationship with. I would still want the guy around a good part of the time. But as girlfriends we could have some fun too. I cannot imagine my brother as a CD, he's just too ordinary. Friends are a different story. I know a few CD's, some only in their femme mode. Although I may gently tease them occasionally, I enjoy their feminine personae.
Before you start revealing your inner self to others, you need to be a good judge of character, and kind of know how any one person might react. On one hand some folks might say they have seen it in you already, and just take it in stride. On the other side, some people, even family, could shun you from that moment forward. You have to consider how you might react to that. In between these extremes is a whole range of possibilities.
Whichever path you choose to follow, be careful.

I would just talk about it. My response to things like this is simply to tell the person that despite the fact they're a crossdresser it doesn't change the fact I care about them and love them. It really doesn't, though. They're my friend, boyfriend, or brother and if I really did love them then I'd accept them for whoever they are. I would just let them keep on keepin' on, it's their choice in life and I'd support them wholeheartedly.

Well, that would entirely depend on whether he was just a crossdresser or if he was a homosexual as well....
Assuming the boyfriend in your scenario is just a crossdresser, I would be supportive, participate, whatever he wanted.. wearing clothing of the opposite sex is not that big a deal..
or maybe I'm just not easily shocked...

I would ask what the pay off is. Usually cross dressing is not an indication of being gay, or being perverted in the way that we want to jump to the conclusion that they are. Talk to the person, try not to sound judgemental, find out what the deal is.

Unfortunately, if it was my boyfriend I would have to distance myself. I just wouldn't be able to be that open-minded or tolerable. I know myself well enough to know it wouldn't wash with me in the long run. If it was my brother it would be no big deal for me, as long as he was discreet until we were both like in our 50's.

I think that I would be able to accept it, if I knew that my brother was gay, but not if he were in a straight relationship.
I could not accept it at all, if it were my boyfriend, because I have no desires to be with another woman. It would be a turn-off.

funny thing, i found out one of my relatives cross dress... i just pretend like i don't know anything until they bring it up first. it's uncomfortable and i would only help if he asked for it. until then, he has a right to his own privacy.

I really wouldn't give a damn if it was my brother, but my bf I'd have problems with.

I'd love them all the same.
It's not like it's hurting anyone, and it if it makes them happy, why not?
If you love someone, I don't think it should matter.
