i have really got into yoga. i really want to learn a pose that will help me get some abs! *LOL* i already know (these are just the short names for them. and i also know that they have nothing to do with abdomen)
spiral roll
shoulder stand
cobra
stomach lift
head stand
reverse posture
plough posture
forward posture
fish posture
twist posture
and also if you have a pose that is really good and has nothing to do with abdomen ill take those too. but i kind of want easy ones too. please tell the name and how. and if you have a web site, that would really work too

I personally think that Boat Pose is the best yoga posture for toning and strengthening abs.

Here's a site with instructions and a photo:

If you can't do the full pose right away, start with bent knees. Makes it a lot easier.

I don't have any recommendations on poses for you but wanted to tell you that there is a newsletter from about.com for Yoga information that may be of help to you. Try http://yoga.about.com

If that doesn't work then when you go to the about.com main page type "yoga" in to the search box and it will take you to the correct link.

I have found that newsletter to be pretty interesting.
