I want to eat a cat and mix the meat with chicken and peppers. Then (after the BQ) I'll surprise my guests with the remaining cat-skin and ask what they thought of the taste. Anything wrong with this?

I'm curious to know if you truly do want to eat a cat or if you simply asked this question for the purpose of getting a rise out of people.

But I'm much more curious to know why some people are telling you that it's wrong to eat cats. I'm wondering whether or not those same people eat other animals. If they do, I'd love to know why they think it's wrong to eat cats.

None of you said anything about the chicken mentioned by the asker. Why? Because your cultures tell you that cats belong as pets and chickens belong on your plates? Cultures tell people a lot of things, but that doesn't necessarily make them right. How do you reason that a cat is not meant to be food while other animals are? How do you reason that some animals are meant to be eaten or otherwise used by humanity? How do you justify the consumption of pigs, for example (who, by the way, are actually more intelligent than dogs and cats)? What is your logic behind thinking that you have any reason to judge the asker of this question if you eat animals?

This sounds like a great way to lose friends and gain enemies. Besides, it is cruel and not justfied unless you are part od a culture that has no other source of meat.

Also - if you are not careful you could be responsible for giving people some kind of ailment or allergic reaction if you feed them something that they have no say in or would have a strong ethical response to.

And I do like the other response about the other 8 or so 'lives' coming after you! If anyone deserved it...sounds like you would!

How in the world did you get ahold of Alf's family recipe?

From what I heard it was the hit of Melmac (before it blew up).

In any event - the minute you show your guests the cat skin you can be assured that that will be the last party of yours they will go to (and don't expect to be invited to theirs).

[just hope you are not in a place that has animal cruelty laws because you could wind up in a cage]

You forgot to add Meow Mix to the recipe. And yes it is sick to eat a cat.

Remember, Cats have nine lives. If you kill the one, the other eight will come and haunt you. I love cats, but they can be revengeful. Just like a woman. DON'T DO IT!!
