That happened to me before too.. but from my experience it was just nothing and my period came right on time or a little later Can't remember but it was a short time later. Don't sweat it.. Wait it out then if you are concerned go see a doctor to ease your mind. Good luck!:)

Don't use a tampon when you are ttc because you are not supposed to use them when you are pregnant.
It could be spotting especially if it is out of character, like early or you don't usually spot. You may go on to have a slightly lighter period even if you are pregnant, so take a test now and then again after the bleeding stops.
Wish you all the best!

It may very well have been spotting. It's also possible that the tampon may have irritated your cervix a bit.

You shouldn't use a tampon unless you actually have your period, because it can cause toxic shock syndrom if you do.

It's possible that you are pregnant and don't have any symptoms, many people don't get symptoms until later, while some get them pretty quick after implantation.

You sound nervous, wait your cycle through. Most cycles are only 28 days so you are a little different but if you truly know your body and your cycle, chill for a few more days. Don't wait too long to get a test done in a clinic if it gets to more than three days past your cycle, though. Good luck and congratulations if you are, ok you're not, lol.
