I mean, all this 'helping the family' and making families the main priority, and making marrage more important in todays society, and yet everything the chancellor has done has stopped that. It is now more beneficial to be a single parent, than to get married. Councils encourage people to give up their job so they can be given a council house, and the country is now paying more tax, and getting no better services.
So, what has he done, exactly, that has been good for this country?

He is part of the Government that has condemned China for opening two coal fired power stations a week and becoming World pollutter number one.
Well done Gordon!
When the World Bank produced the Stirk report on pollution it was Gordon who stood up and embraced and endorsed the report confirming his commitment to the environment.
Bravo Gordon!
When the Chinese needed the cash to develop the coal fired power stations that are now poisoning the World, it was Gordon who got the money from the World Bank in New York during 2006.
What has Gordon done to be PM?
He has demonstrated he intends to follow Blairs standards!

By being elected leader of the Labour party he will be appointed as Primeminister by the Queen on Wednesday until he decides to go to the nation and hold a General Election and then the public will decide whom they want as PM
Only then will he be given if he wins the right to truly be called PM of the UK

Are you trying to say that you yourself are tempted to become a single parent, live on benefits and go on the council house waiting list? I know it's highly tempting but try not to go down that route. It's a dead end.
Good luck!

The single greatest acheivement of the current Labour government has in my view been the resurgence of the economy - stable growth, low inflation, overall a thriving economy.
This was underpinned by one pivotal decision - devolving interest rate decisions to the Bank of England. De-politicisation of this meant economic policy wasn't driven by short term political goals and avoided quick-fix solutions. Brilliant Gordon, brilliant.
But it does somehow seem undemocratic that he becomes PM. Bloody Royal Prerogative, the most archaic way possible to appoint a PM.

Do you know - I am so sick and tired of politics now - nobody listens to the man in the street, the papers don't press points hard enough when questioning various politicians. I now feel nobody in Government cares about real people and problems so why should I care about who is in power, they're all the same, greedy, arrogant, slease bags.

He has done very little. He has ducked every tough decision and has made chronic mistakes which we are just finding out about due to the slow pace of the econonmics world.
This man is going to be a disaster, but I do not think it will be very long before he is gone.
