I think Rafael Palmeiro is worse, considering that he committed perjury before Congress by lying about his steroid use.

No. There have been worse people in pro sports and the entertainment industry that have truly disgraced their professions:
O.J. Simpson - Suspicion of murder/Resisting arrest
Pete Rose - Gambling while employed by the Phillies
Sean Penn - Human rights activist with long arrest record due to disturbing the peace and resisting arrest
Robert Blake - Suspicion of murder
Michael Jordan - Suspicion of gambling
Rafael Palmiero/Mark McGwire/Sammy Sosa/Jason Giambi - "Caught" for using illegal performance enhancing drugs and positive test results occurring
Ray Lewis - Murdered his brother
Barry is only under suspicion but the facts don't prove anything yet. He's going to be served with a subpoena soon, but after that time, we'll find out the truth when he testifies.

Like I said before, Ty Cobb was the worst. And Also like I said before, you have to get proof before you convict someone. Everyone of you haters are using accusations to prove your accusations. You have no failed drug test, or no real, and reliable witnesses. Just two reporters trying to create the news rather then report it. Who then go out to write a book to confirm their own story. One guy on Yahoo Answers Assumed that he had shrunken testicles, and used that assumption to prove that Bonds was juicing. Well maybe he wasn't assuming, maybe he got a close look. Maybe he held them in his hands and marveled at them, I just don't think so. I've also said in other answers that this lynch mob mentality has got to stop, and the people involved in this behavior should really do some self-examination before they accuse anyone. I don't think they would appreciate it if they're ever accused of something with the same proof they have on Bonds.

I just assumed he was a cheater, and I'm sure a majority of people do too. I refuse to believe the kid from the Pirates and Arizona State who had a uniform hanging off of him like a 12 year old is the same person without the help of some supplements, no way.

Nah. That'd be either Hal Chase, or pretty much any loudmouthed, hate-filled fan.

Possibly, though Pete Rose gives him a run for his money, as do the infamous Black Sox.
